Mrs. Knapp was always so gentle and sweet when I would see her at the condos where my mother also lives.  I will miss hearing her stories about her life and experiences.  With Sympathy,  Mary Call Langella

I'm sorry to hear of your loss.  I only got to know Doris a short time, but she was a sweet woman and shared many stories about her family and life.  She was a joy to visit with in her brief stay at All Saints.

Dear Family--We will miss Doris very much.  She lived across the street from us on Ingleside (and Jesse Sr. for quite a few years) for 35 years and then we would see her at Edgewood Condos where my mother lived for several years.  My husband was able to help her in the laundry room and give her a last hug at the condos just three weeks ago.  The service this morning was beautiful and a special way for all to remember her.  Se will always be in our hearts as our very special neighbor.  We send our love to all of you in her large family--Vicki & Len Burroughs at 932 Ingleside Ave.

Dear Marty, Jesse, and family,
I was so sorry to hear about Doris. I still have fond memories of her from when we'd spend time at each others home when we were in high school. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Knapp was such a gracious and sweet lady.  I visited her many times during the years to buy nuts and fruit.  She was always so pleasant with that certain sense of humor. I was sad when she had to stop selling nuts and fruit and missed our frequent visits.  However, I did see her occasionally in the neighborhood and she told me how much she enjoyed living at Florida Christian Home.  

To her family, God bless each of you and may the many memories of this wonderful lady sustain you in the days ahead. Mrs. Knapp was a real jewel.  I am glad I had the opportunity to get to know her and Mr. Knapp. They were a warm and genuine couple.  I will miss the both of them in the neighborhood.

Your guiding influence in working at the voting polls, made it a pleasure to assit you on those 18 hour days. I thank God for putting Doris in my life for so many yrars. Bud & Bobbie Beck.

Ms. Knapp was a great influence in my teen years in Rainbow.  She influenced many young girls in her role as an advisor and taught me things I still use in my life today.  I think of her often and thank God for putting such a wonderful lady in my life when I was young.

Aunt Doris, I will miss you.  I am grateful for the time we were able to share and will always remember the them.  All my love , Randy
