She was also active in volunteer work, amassing over 3000 hours on the St. Vincent’s Auxiliary. A lifelong Episcopalian, she was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Riverside.
Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Harry and Emma Davis and her brother George Davis. She is survived by her loving husband of 77 years, Hank, and her children Harry Baker (Mary), Ken Baker (Fran), Jane Gonsalves (David), and grandchildren Karren Baker, Kevin Baker (Vanessa), Drayton Nichols (Mitchell), Erik Gonsalves (Katie), Meaghan Thomas (Peter), step grandson Kyle Paschal, and great grandchildren Grant and Mark Baker and Emma James Nichols.
A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, November 21, 2016 at 11:30am at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 1100 Stockton Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204.
