Dorothy Barket Korey, age 99, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on July 17, 2025. Dorothy was the daughter of George and Helen Barket and the third of five sisters. She was married to Mitchell Korey for 60 years. Together, they had three children: Kit (Saralyn), Susan (Joseph), and Kristie (Philip). She had four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at St. John's Episcopal Cathedral on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. The Cathedral’s address is 256 E Church St, Jacksonville, FL 32202.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
