LOCHRIDGE……….Dorothy Sikes Lochridge, 81, passed away on August 31, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Virlyn B. Lochridge, Sr. Mrs. Lochridge was a life long resident of Gilmore Heights. She graduated from Landon High School and was a member of Ft. Caroline United Methodist Church. Mrs. Lochridge loved to cook and was an avid collector of tea cups. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lochridge is survived by one daughter, Lenora Walden (Skip); one son, Virlyn Bert Lochridge, Jr. (Dianna); two stepsons, Eric Clifton (K.T.) and Billy Clifton; four sisters, Mina Reid, Gloria Malin (Ed), Pat Bodway (Rodney), and Jeanne Bennett (Jimmy); brother, Robert Sikes (Janet); sister-in-law, Ginny Sikes; grandchildren, Eric Andrew Lochridge and Bobbi Clifton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
