

Edith was born April 9, 1931, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Ernest Brant & Beatrice King Sheffield. She lived in Jacksonville most of her life. She retired from GMAC in Jacksonville, FL after 40 years of loyal service. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Southside Women’s Club, & Daughters of the Nile. Edith truly had a servant’s heart & was loving & giving to all.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband James H. Hall of 51 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth B. Moore (Tony ) & Pamela H. Crawford of Jacksonville; one brother, David M. Sheffield of Baton Rouge, LA; two sisters, Marlene Parrish & Patricia Sitton; Granddaughters, Victoria Beard (Chris) & Alexandra Williams; Grandson, Corey Crawford; Great Grandchildren, Chance & Taylor Beard & Brooklynn Williams.
Funeral services will be held at two’ o’clock in the afternoon, December 19, 2015, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, Georgia. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
A celebration of life will be held January 30, 2016 at Monument Point Fellowship, Jacksonville FL from twelve until three o’clock in the afternoon.
Hardage-Giddens, The Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 San Jose Boulevard, is serving the family.
