Edna M. Register

Edna married Sidney Register in 1952 and was married for 50 years until his death in 2002. With Sidney's career at Winn-Dixie, they lived in various locations including Atlanta, New Orleans, Montgomery and Jacksonville. In retirement, they lived in Earleton Fl. Edna enjoyed gardening, painting and nature. She was an exceptional artist and excelled in china painting. Her work was chosen to be in the World Organization of China Painters Museumin Oklahoma City. Edna was a member of the Jacksonville Porcelain Society and the Audubon Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Register, son Richard Keller and her two brothers Ernest McRae, Jr. and James DeLand.

She is survived by her sister Mary Clark, her nieces Mary Branley, Elizabeth Surratt, Edna Lois Ramsdell and nephews Merle DeLand and James R DeLand; her grandchildren Laura Montgomery, Lisa Roberts and Steven Keller and four great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10-12pm on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at Hardage Giddens Funeral Home Edgewood Chapel located at 729 S. Edgewood Blvd. Jax. FL. 32205. A graveside service will be held 1:30pm at Evergreen Cemetery 4535 Main St. Jacksonville, Fl. 32206, Gate#6.
