Edward Norris

Edward Norris was a dedicated man to his family and friends. He was 80 years old and passed away September 20, 2012 at his home from a lengthy illness. He was a resident of Duval County for 52 years. He was proceeded by his wife June Soles Norris, 52 years of marriage. Survivors included 6 children: Barry (Polly) Norris of McRae, GA., Susan (Steve) Yates of JAX, Fl, Jeff Norris of JAX, FL, Crystal Steverson of Scotland, GA, Edwena Forbes of McRae, GA. and Joel (Angie) Norris of JAX, FL. He had 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren along with many nephews and nieces. Services will be held at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home at 729 South Edgewood Ave. Viewing Tuesday September 25th 6-9pm, Service September 26th 1pm. Interment will follow at Arlington Park Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his wife. Arrangements entrusted to: Hardage – Giddens Funeral Home Edgewood Chapel.
