For over 25 years she served as a volunteer for the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. A lifelong Catholic, Eileen was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Arlington and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church at the time of her death. Eileen is survived by her son, Jeff and wife Nancy, son Greg and wife Julie; and daughter, Sherry Hieb and husband Greg, all of Jacksonville. She was blessed with and dearly loved her seven grandchildren, Brian Smith, (Rachel), Whitney Smith, Philip Smith, Gregory Hieb, Jr., Kaitlyn Hieb, Adam Smith and Erin Smith; and four great-grandchildren, Ansley Smith, Spencer Smith, Oliver Smith and Eleanor Smith.
