Elizabeth Liz Ann McGarvey

Elizabeth “Liz” Morrell McGarvey, 59, and John Robert “Bob” McGarvey, 64, passed away together unexpectedly on November 27, 2011, at 3:10 PM, as a result of an automobile accident. Liz was born in Norfolk, VA to Ellis and Grace Morrell. She was employed by CSX Railroad for more than 30 years. Bob was born in Darby, PA to Sidney and Arline McGarvey. He was retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance Company.

Liz and Bob were both predeceased by their parents. Liz is survived by her brother, George Ellis Morrell (wife Gloria); sister, Mary Morrell Warren (husband Cy); nieces and nephews, Kelley Elizabeth Warren, Coleman Ellis Morrell, Allison Knight Morrell Dailey, Christina Eason Warren. Bob is survived by his brother, Stephen Ogden McGarvey “Steve” (wife Gigi) and his sister, Patricia McGarvey Jackson "Bunny" (husband, James); nieces and nephews, Charles Reinhardt McGarvey, Nicholas Hall McGarvey, Meagan Elizabeth Jackson, Christina Larsen McGarvey, James Pierce Jackson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 10th in All Souls Anglican Church, 4042 Hartley Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32257 with Rev. Larry O’Connell and Whitey Haugan as Co-Officiants.
