Aguilar – Emilio F. Aguilar, Jr. 85, passed away in Jacksonville, Florida on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Emilio was born in Manila, Philippines on December 31, 1935 to Emilio G. and Lucia Flores Aguilar, Sr. He worked in the insurance industry as an agent. Emilio was predeceased by his wife Angelita Pineda Aguilar; and his brother, Ernesto Aguilar. He is survived by his children, Emilita Aguilar Diaz and Emilio Angelo Aguilar, III; granddaughter Kylie Rinoa Diaz and his siblings Dr. Laura Yumul, Edgardo Aguilar, Lucila Enriquez, Lina Hulongbayan, Efren Aguilar and Lulu Tablante. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., from 5 pm to 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3383 University Blvd. N., on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 10 a.m. with Father Bart Gadaj as celebrant. Burial will follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.
