Emily Nefler, age 79, passed away on March 30, 2015 at Riverwood Center in Jacksonville. She was born in Griffin, Georgia on May 6, 1937 to J.D. and Lavonia Casey. Mrs. Nefler had lived most of her life in Jacksonville, Florida.
Emily was a member of the Forest Boulevard Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Beavers (Donna) of Jacksonville, Florida and Billy Joe Beavers of Arcadia, Florida. Two Daughters, Margaret Crowell and Theresa Snyder both of Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by a brother, Duke Casey of St. Augustine, Florida and a sister Peggy Wollitz (Lonnie) of Largo, Florida. Emily also leaves 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:30 AM at the Forest Boulevard Baptist Church, 4210 Forest Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32246.
A private inurnment will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery.
