Era enjoyed exploring the wonders of God’s creations. She loved hiking, traveling, nature, the beach, and bird watching. Era was an avid reader. She believed that knowledge and education were liberating and empowering. To those who knew her, she will always be fondly remembered as a person who taught you something each time she spoke.

Era was blessed to share her childhood and life with her loving siblings, Juanita, LC, Lazel, Wayne, Wade, Inez, Feron Jr., Lonell, and Evelyn who all preceded her in death.
