Esther was united in marriage to Jerome Kahn, who preceded her in death. She was also predeceased by her beloved children, Ellen and Steven.
She pursued her education with dedication, earning her master’s degree from Ohio University.
A devoted kindergarten teacher for many years, Esther touched the lives of countless children with her kindness, patience, and love of learning.
In her free time, she found joy in volunteering, knitting, and needlepoint. She was an avid reader, especially of mystery novels, and had a well-known fondness for chocolate. Esther was a proud member of the Jewish community.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
