Evelyn attended Andrew Jackson High School and She resided in the Mandarin area for 66 years. She worked for 30 years as a Court Clerk in the Duval County Clerks Office. She raised poodles for many years and was an active member of the K-9 Obedience Club of Jacksonville.
Evelyn’s hobbies were reading, jigsaw puzzles , and gardening. Her gardening skills won her many “Yard of the Month” awards.
She was predeceased by her husband Connie E Monroe, daughter Constance Lynn Monroe, and son Michael E Monroe (Terry). She is survived by her daughter Sandra M. Smith (Bobby), daughter in-law Terry Monroe, 5 grandchildren, Amy (Dan), Bo (Jennifer), Codie (Jay), Joni (Allan) and Aron (Scott), and 9 great grandchildren Keiven (April), Cory, Jacob, Abigail, Rachael ( Bradley), Kyle, Rebecca, Foster, and Jane.
