
Evlu, as a preacher’s daughter, was very outspoken about her love for the Lord and her assurance of her salvation. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Lake City where she loved to attend when physically able.
Evlu is survived by her son, Jeff John Lawless, of Lake City and her daughter, Sharon Kay McClellan, of North Carolina, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, John R. Lawless; her daughters, Carolyn Rae Wagoner and Marth Ann Lawless; two sons, Keith Alen Laverette and Craig Van Lawless; her sister, Sally Mae Walther; two brothers, Van Green Jr. and R. A. Green.
A visitation will be held on December 13, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home PA, located at 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32211.
The funeral service will follow at the same location on December 13, 2025, starting at 12:00 pm.
A committal service will take place on December 13, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery, Funeral Home and Crematory, 4535 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32206.
