Ezra Lee Parker

Ezra Lee Parker, 86, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at home surrounded by family. Ezra was born February 13, 1927, in Banks County, Georgia, to Fred and Minnie Carter Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents and 12 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Irene Parker; daughters, LeJean Wollitz (Jimmy) and Janet Gordon (Jim); grandchildren, Mindy Janousek (James), Becky Wollitz, Rodney Wollitz, Katie Gordon-Megar (Chris), and Matt Gordon; and twin sister, Mary Pritchett. He started his career as a glazer at Pittsburg Plate Glass and retired from Retrofit Glass Company. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 8, 2013, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Funeral Home, 729 S. Edgewood Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 9, 2013, at 1:00 pm, at First Coast Baptist Church, 7587 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32244.
