Florence Glenn Stevenson

Florence was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in the Virginia area. She worked and raised her family in Arlington. Flo was employed by the Arlington school board. She attended Central United Methodist. She retired to Manassas, Virginia. She loved gardening and working in the church office. She moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2004. She sang in the choir at Mandarin United Methodist and volunteered at Community Hospice. She is a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Descendants of George Washington.

Florence is preceded in death by her parents, John and Gladys Foute; her husband, Harry W. Jones, Jr.; her son, Jeffery Jones; her husband, Robert Stevenson; her son-in-law, David Pugh; her brother, John Foute Jr.; and her sister, Elizabeth Graveline.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Jeanne Brooks (Ron); her step-son, David Stevenson (Maura); her step-daughter, Kathleen Soloway (Stan); grandchildren, Jennifer Allinson (Travis), Laura Stafford (Garland), Paul Pugh (Jena), Patrick Stevenson, Maggie Stevenson, Anna Soloway, Mollie Soloway, and Sonya Soloway; great grandchildren, Jorie Allinson, Trey Stafford, James Allinson, Samantha Stafford, Oceanna Allinson, Tessa Allinson, Isla Pugh, Hannah Pugh, and Naomi Pugh.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 15 in Mandarin United Methodist Church, 11270 San Jose Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32223.
