Forrest was born on April 2, 1939 in Jacksonville Fl. The son of the late Horace Anderson and Florence York, also of Jacksonville Fl. He was one of six children and served 7 yrs in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his father Horace Anderson; mother, Florence York; brothers Jimmy, Donald and Butch; sister, Peggy.
He is survived by his wife Raye Anderson of 54 yrs; one sister , Cookie; two children Sherri ( Gary )Thompson , Teresa ( Dewayne ) Presley; eight grand children, Matthew, Nikki, Josh, Brandi Carrie, Christian, Jp, and Tyler and their spouses. He was blessed with 18 great grand children.
Graveside services with be held on May 23rd at 11am at Anderson Cemetery on Cedar Point Rd Jacksonville, 32226 with Pastor Perry Fruscella of First Coast Christian Center, officiating. Our family will be accepting guest after the service, at the home of Sherri and Gary Thompson, 10040 Sawpit Rd. Jacksonville Florida 32226.
