Francesco “Franco” Anthony Renhack, age 17, of Ponte Vedra, Florida passed away unexpectantly on Friday, October 10th, 2025. He was born March 14, 2008, in Jacksonville, Florida. Franco was the beloved son of Marco Otto Renhack and Lisa Ann Renhack and a cherished brother to Lucia Marie Renhack. He leaves behind a legacy of joy, light, and love that touched all who knew him.
Franco was a shining example of kindness and empathy, always thinking of others. A junior at Ponte Vedra High School, Franco was known not just for his bright spirit but also for his love and compassion for all. As an officer in the Best Buddies club, he brought kindness and connection to his peers, always eager to lift others up and make them feel included. His joy was infectious whether he was dancing, singing, or sharing laughter and music with friends over FaceTime.
Franco had a deep love for music and dreamed of becoming a DJ. His favorite genres included Electronic Dance Music, and Pop, and he found so much happiness in playing music, dancing, and creating moments of fun and energy for those around him. He also loved video games, bottle flipping, and spending time just being with his many friends, always with a smile or a laugh at the ready.
Franco was a young man of faith. As a devoted Catholic, he believed in God and Jesus, and his spirituality was a quiet but steady part of his life. His family finds comfort knowing he received the sacraments of the Catholic Church.
Franco’s presence was a gift to his family, his friends, his schools, and his community. He is survived by his loving parents, Lisa Ann Renhack and Marco Otto Renhack; his dear sister, Lucia Marie Renhack; his grandfathers, Lawrence Cellucci and Roland Renhack, aunts, Sharon Echalico, Patti Schrader, and Christine Berry; and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and a large circle of devoted friends who will carry his memory with them always. Franco is now reunited in heaven with his grandmothers, Teresa Renhack and Joan Cellucci.
The Renhack family extends their heartfelt thanks to the community that supported Franco throughout his life, including the staff and students of Ponte Vedra High School and Morning Star Catholic School, as well as Camp Boggy Creek, Dreams Come True of Jacksonville, Bit of Faith Ranch, Best Buddies, Camp I am Special, Special Nation, Epilepsy Alliance Florida, Give Kids the World Village, and the compassionate care teams at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital (Dr. Ian Miller), Nemours Children’s Health (Dr. Harry Abram), and Baptist Pediatrics (Dr. Erica Tarbox) and the countless other specialists and therapists that assisted him through his medical journey.
