On Monday March 28, 2011, Frank Eberhardt was called to our Lord and Savior. Although he will be missed by so many, the unconditional love and generosity he gave so unselfishly will be cherished by all who knew him. Frank will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Frank’s 4 years service in the Air Force and 30 years as a Fireman for the Jacksonville Fire Department is further testament of his willingness to sacrifice for others. Whether stranger or friend, Frank’s gentle demeanor always brought calm and his humor always brought laughter. His love for family is what brought Frank so much joy, the love and pride of his daughters and grandchildren was endearing. The children will never forget Papa Frank-he meant so much to us all.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday, April 1 at Greenlawn Chapel, 4300 Beach Blvd. Funeral services will be held 10 am Saturday, April 2 at the Fire Dept. Union Hall, 618 Stockton St. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
