Born October 22, 1937 in Ramallah, Palestine. Passed from this life into the gates of Heaven on Sunday, May, 13, 2012. Freddy immigrated to the U.S. with his family at the age of 9 years old. Raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Freddy was proud to have graduated from Jackson High School. His senior year was significant in that Freddy received both his U.S. citizenship and a scholarship to play football for the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). Freddy remained friends with many from his High School years. His family was very proud of Freddy's accomplishments at Georgia. Freddy remained an avid Bulldog fan his entire life and the University was forever in his heart. He lived red & black and all his family knew that being a Bulldog was an integral part of his life. Freddy spent his professional life in the paper business. He was the proud co-founder & co-owner of Pioneer Paper & Plastics. Through his work, he made many lifelong friends.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Kowkabany Farah, daughter Lisa Farah Ghanayem (Al), son Freddy Farah, Jr. and sister Ann Farah.
