Geewa Tam

Born in Hong Kong, Geewa came to the United States with his family in 1968. A devoted son and uncle, he was known for his generous spirit, his zest for life, and his deep love of the beach, nature, and animals. His presence was steady, warm, and always marked by a willingness to help others.

Geewa graduated from the University of Florida in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics. He began his career as an auditor with Bank of Boston before transitioning into the restaurant business as an owner and operator. In his later years, he worked as a supervisor for several companies, including Kroger, Amazon, and Freshly. No matter the role, he was admired for his work ethic, reliability, and kindness.

Outside of work, Geewa found joy in spending time outdoors with friends and family. Whether exploring parks, enjoying the sunshine, or simply sharing a meal, he cherished the moments that brought people together.

He will be remembered for his generosity, his humor, and the quiet strength with which he faced life’s challenges.

A committal service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, located at 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207, United States, on February 15, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.
