Jerry was born October 8, 1932 in Crescent City, Florida to Curtis L. Blair and Minnie Blair. He was the youngest of nine children. Jerry was an avid golfer and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a sacristan at Christ the King Catholic Church. He devoted himself to God and his church.
He was a loving husband for 79 years to his wife, Marian Blair.
He was preceded in death by oldest son Gerald L. Blair, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Marian, twins Marty Blair (Middleburg, Fl.) and Marie (David) Hinkle (Rocky Mount, NC). He has 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Gerald will be held Friday, September 19, 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32211. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Christ the King Catholic Church, 742 Arlington Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32211. A graveside service will occur Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Arlington Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32211.
