This was a once in a life time friend. Out of the many times we talked and fished together, I'll never forget the first day we fished together nor the last. Glen was a true and wonderful friend. Even after i left Fl I would call him from time to time and ask him what he was doing, he would always answer, "I'm talking to you". He always had a story to tell and a laugh to share. I tried to sleep many nights in the back of his truck, he had an alarm clock that sounded like a time bomb ticking......all night long. lol I'll miss you my friend until one day we'll have the opportunity to sit and laugh again!

Let us recognize a man with a life well lived.  Worked hard, played by the rules, raised a wonderful family, for which I was a distant extended part through marriage. My fondest memories will always be his easy, and very distinctive laugh, for which I can almost hear a distinct echo right now as he gets to visit with all those loved ones that preceded him in this eternal journey. 

God Bless Mr. Glen Huggins, and may he always serve as an example of how we should treat each other during this limited time we have on this earth.

Shocked to read of Glen's passing.  He was a friendly good neighbor, he always seemed to have a smile, I know he loved fishing, and loved his

I have been lucky enough to live across the street from Mr. Huggins for the last 9 years. He always had the best fishing stories, the kind that you could listen to over and over again. He would take me to the plantation to go fishing and I always had a great time just being on the lake with him. I am lucky to have been his neighbor and his friend. He will be truely missed.

If fish could breathe, they all breathed a sigh of relief at Glen's passing, he could slay them like no other.  Mr. Huggins was one of those rare men who seemed to have only good in him.  After living next door to Glen and Norma for almost 48 years, it is sure going to hard not seeing him.  He helped raise me, and God knows, my Mom and Dad needed all the help with me they could get.  When my son was about three years old,1996 or so, Glen made him a beautiful bunk bed and I told him he should get a booth at the flea market and sell his handmade furniture there. He told me people were just too used to buying cheap stuff and they wouldn't want to pay him what it was worth, so he liked making things for those he loved and just giving it away.  Goodbye for now, Glen... I hope to see you again some day.

Aunt Norma, my heart goes out to each one of you. So many happy memories of summer visits to your house and listening to Uncle Glen's fishing adventures. We loved Uncle Glen so much and he will be dearly missed. Hope to see you soon. We love you.

Aunt Norma, we are all going to miss Uncle Glen...our prayers are with you and your great family.  I will always remember the vacations to Florida and the chance to visit with my favorite Aunt and Uncle....and cousins.  I will also cherish the fishing trips with Uncle Glen at the Plantation during my short visits while on trips to Orlando.  We love you, Charles Huggins
