She graduated from Jackson High School and then began a long career with Gulf Life Insurance Company. Staying home wasn't for her so she began her second career with Demetree Brothers and worked until she retired seven years ago.
Gloria loved more than anything when her and her husband M.P. had their river place in Colee Cove. Taking her grandchildren, Brett and Kristen for a long weekend was what kept her young. Gloria was a kind hearted woman with not an unkind word for anyone.
When she lost her sister Shirley, one of her last remaining siblings, she lost some of her spark. Shirley was her running buddy. Gloria is preceded in death by her husband, Millard P. Richardson Jr.
She is survived by her son, Millard P. Richardson III "Skip" and his wife Ann; 2 grandchildren, Kristen Inman (Will) and Brett Richardson (Molly); four great grandchildren, Isla and Elle Richardson, Pierce and Leighton Inman; as well as many nieces and nephews. Thank you to her caregiver Laura Tukes for all your patience and helpfulness.
