LUCAS- Gregory G. October 29, 2015 Greg went home to be with our Lord and Savior at the young age of 67, after a long illness. Greg had many passions in life but laughter was what everyone knew him for. He was the beloved soul mate, best friend and husband of Georgia (Della Penta) Lucas, devoted and loving father of James G. Lucas (deceased), Melissa M. (Greg) Holler, and Michael P. (Amy) Della Penta. Loving grandfather of Madison, Matthew, Alexia, Ashley and Anna. Dear brother of Patty and Richard, also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends and family. His family will be present on Saturday, 11/14/15 from 11:00am till 1:30pm at the Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home at 11801 San Jose Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32223 where a celebration of his life will be held. All are invited to attend this gathering and come to the family home after. Gregory was a disabled veteran from the Vietnam War and a member of the Northeast Florida Golf Association. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, Florida.
