

Harold proudly served his country as a member of the Navy submarine service for four years. His time in the military was a testament to his dedication and commitment to duty. Following his service, Harold embarked on a diverse and accomplished career that spanned several industries. He worked with American Optical and later as a waste water treatment plant operator before concluding his professional journey with AT&T.
Harold's life was enriched by his many passions and hobbies. He had a deep love for learning languages, which reflected his curiosity and desire to connect with the world around him. Music brought him joy, while painting allowed him to express his creativity. Harold also cherished traveling and exploring new places, but above all else, he treasured spending time with his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Carol; his daughter Lori; his son David; and his grandson Jeffery. Harold is also remembered by his brother Eric and sister Elisa Coffman, both from Missouri. He was predeceased by his parents, Glenn and Velva Smith, as well as his sister Gloria Hutson.
Harold's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May the legacy of his life bring comfort and inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to share in it.
A private burial will be held in Massachusetts at a later date.
