Helen Elizabeth Arsenault Ramsey, 89, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Helen was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville and longtime member of Garden City United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Arsenault; a son, George E. Arsenault; and 5 brothers and sisters, Leo Jarrell, Evelyn Butler, Clifford Jarrell, Margie Moore and Charles Jarrell. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Jack C. Ramsey; three sons, Ronald G. Arsenault (Betty), John F. Arsenault (Donna) and David E. Arsenault (Elizabeth); 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, other loving family and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 12, in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Avenue, with Rev. Alan Patz officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Garden City United Methodist Church, 3057 Dunn Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32218 or to the Food Bank of Jacksonville, 1502 Jessie Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206.
