Helen S. Cranford

Mrs. Helen Cranford age 99 died Thursday January 17. She was born in California in 1913 and moved to Florida as a young child. Helen was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church for 70 years and was a Past President of the Catholic Women’s Club. Helen was a member of the Jacksonville Women’s Club, Garden Club Circle, and the Fine Arts Forum. Helen worked in Real Estate and ran a catering business along with her husband.

Helen was preceded in death by her Husband Luther Cranford, Sr., and her sons Luther Cranford Jr, and Robert Cranford. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Priscilla Roberts (Keith) her five grandchildren, Cranford Roberts, Cheryl McCoy, Amy Stoll, Charlie and Justin Cranford and 6 great grand children.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be Monday January 21st, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church located at 2609 Park Street Jacksonville, Florida.

In lieu of flowers memorial offerings may be made in Helen’s memory to St. Paul’s School 2600 Forbes Street Jacksonville, Florida 32205, St. Catherine Laborue Manor, 1750 Stockton Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32204, and Northeast Florida Community Hospice 4114 Sunbeam Road Jacksonville, Florida 32257.
