DYE - Helen Dye lived a long life filled with love, kindness, service to family, friends, her church, and our Lord. She was born in North Carolina and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1960 when her beloved late husband Ollie was transferred to Jacksonville by the Atlantic Coastline Railroad. She was an excellent cook, loved to sing, and was a fan of music and college football, especially the Crimson Tide and the Gators. She experienced over 98 years of good times and bad times and persevered through it all with her faith in God. She is survived by her son, Allen and her daughter-in-law Judy, who she thought of as her own daughter, and her grand dog, Ali. She will always be missed but will never be forgotten. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32211. The Memorial Service will be Wednesday, July 11, 2018, 11 a.m. at Terry Parker Baptist Church, 7024 Merrill Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211 with interment immediately following at Arlington Park Cemetery.
