

Ground, GA. Mrs. Hyde was born on February 18, 1958 in Jacksonville, FL, the daughter of Saed Elias
Kazaleh and Salwa Bajalia Kazaleh. She married Edwin Bille Hyde on March 18, 1990 and
together the two raised a daughter, Hannah.
Helen was an alumna of Florida State University and an avid fan of the Seminole football team. She was owner/operator of Hungry Hannah’s restaurant in Brunswick, GA for seven years, a role that was her standout favorite in her working life. She was an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Family in Jasper, GA.
A passionate gardener, Helen could often be found among the flowers. She loved to
entertain her friends and family and always remembered special occasions. Her smile was
infectious and shone brightest when she was surrounded by the people she loved.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin Billie Hyde of Ball Ground, GA; her daughter Audrey
Hannah Hyde of Decatur, GA; one sister, Fadwa Ann Kazaleh of Jacksonville, FL; 2 brothers, Fred
Saed Kazaleh (Rana) of Jacksonville, FL and Louis Saed Kazaleh (Rana) of Jacksonville, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 24th at 1:30pm at Hardage-Giddens
Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. John’s Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, Florida 32225. The family will receive friends beginning at noon. Interment will follow the funeral service at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32207.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.
