
Henry (Harry) J. Lyons, MSgt (retired HQ SAC), was born in San Francisco to Cathrine & James Lyons. Harry attended Sacred Heart High school San Francisco & Metro Tech College, Omaha, NE. A member of the Navy Reserve and retired from the USAF. Harry taught Auto Mechanics at UTI, Omaha and for the City of Jacksonville Fleet Mgmt. Division, as well as, Master Safety Instructor for Northeast Florida Safety Council.Harry was predeceased by his parents, his brother, Brother James Joseph, F.S.C., Rose Lyons the mother of his three sons, Michael (April), Brian (Charla) & Dennis Lyons, Peggy Lyons, mother of his two step-sons Bill (Yvonne) & Keith Plumstead.Harry is survived by his wife, Charlotte, and her three children Katie(Derrick) Haymore, Jeff (Amanda) and Amy (Pedro) Ramos as well as seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great- grand children, many relative & friends from across the US, including a very special older cousin Marlene (Mark) Swenson.Services are to be held by Alan Patz, Pastor of Garden City United Methodist Church, on August 16, 2013 at Corey-Kerlin, Rowe Ave at 11:00 AM. To follow, an interment into the Jacksonville National Cemetery with full military honors. Harry requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
