Ila N. Harvey

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Emmett “Stumpy” Harvey and her daughter Cecilia McMillan. She is survived by four daughters: Patricia (Raymond) Tubel, Antoinette (David) Ferrell, Angela (Angel) Colon, and Madeline (Gary) Redwine. She has 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Lee High School and was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church for over 50 years. She was devoted to her family and was a wonderful example of love, patience, and perseverance.

The family is grateful for the loving care given her by Sherri Toifel, Beverly Ondarcho and the staff at the Atrium at Regency.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Harvey’s grandsons: Tim Ferrell, Ray Tubel, Jr., Todd Ferrell, Michael McMillan, Wayne Tubel, Gary Redwine, Jr., Joseph McMillan, and Matthew Redwine. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 PM Thursday, August 19th at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Avenue. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, August 20th at Assumption Catholic Church, 2403 Atlantic Blvd. with Father Michael Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
