Jean Farrens a devoted wife and mother has gone to be with our Lord on March 15, 2018. Jean was a women of strong faith and character.She was a graduate of Rollins College where she met and married the love of her life, Jerry. Jean majored in drama and was voted "outstanding actress" by her class. Jean was a member of the DAR, Chi Omega, Screen Actors Guild, and San Marco Garden Club. Through her organizations she has made many life long friends. Jean pursued her passion for acting with the Coronet Modeling Agency doing commercial and print work.
Jean was preceded in death by her daughter, Gloria Jean, husband, Gerald, and son, Richard Bruce. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine, granddaughter Katie, great grandsons, Bryce and Bryan Schenck, niece Amy, great nephew Alex Hackett, great niece, Arianna Albertson.
A memorial service will be held for Jean and Bruce at South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church at a later date. Donations my be made to Rollins College, American Heart Association, or your favorite charity.
My most treasured blessing, and I say it with great conviction, is that I had a beautiful family who loved me with all their heart. My family taught the value of unconditional love!
