Dr. Itai Takaendesa Mupanduki was born to the late Silas Mupanduki and Kezia Chiduku on October 7, 1964. He trained as a Medical Doctor and Public Health Consultant and worked in Zimbabwe, migrated to the USA in the early 1990’s. He worked in many states in the USA, including Hawaii as well as US territories such as the Virgin Islands and Guam. Doctor Itai Takaendesa Mupanduki travelled extensively in Central and South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, and the pacific rim. He wrote several books and his last book was reflected on the hurricanes he experienced in his life. Dr. Itai Mupanduki’s life was cut short at the age of 54 years old on September 6, 2019 from a fatal car accident.
Dr. Itai Mupanduki was a loving caring father. He is survived by his son, Itai Jr. and his daughter, Tendai. He was the first child in the family of five and he is survived by his four sisters, Nancy, Stellah, Neliat, Media; one half-brother and six half-sisters. He was also a loving uncle to his nephews and nieces.
