Donnie Gibson, 58, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2010. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Cooper, sisters, Kathryn Estes and Dianne Tison (John), one niece, and several nephews and great nephews. He was predeceased by his father, James Donald Gibson Sr. and brother in law, Michael Estes. Donnie enjoyed watching football, listening to music, fishing, and cooking for friends and family. His incredible wit and sense of humor will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
A memorial service to honor Donnie’s life will be held in the chapel at Hardage Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Avenue, at 7 pm on Monday, September 13, 2010.
