

James Theodore Grondzik (Jay, Grunski) born December 7, 1977 in Jacksonville, FL. He attended Mandarin High School & FSCJ . He had a passion for flying and helping others to a fault. Jay was civic minded and attended the Rotary Club, donated blood regularly , donated to numerous organizations including Angelwood, Christian Heritage Academy & Wounded Warrior Project. He loved his family and always had the biggest smile ever seen on a person. He entered the IT industry while working at Computer Renaissance then purchased a franchise and bought out GTI Computers & Security, a technological company that was on Angies List #1 spot three years running and had great things said about his company in the Business Journal. Jay’s proudest achievement was his patent being granted on his AMWISP invention (www.amwisp.net) which is a mobile wireless internet service provider. Jay is survived by his wife Brooke Michelle Grondzik, daughters Brae and Brackey, His mother and father Kay Gaskin Grondzik and Bill Grondzik, his brother Bill Grondzik Jr. and wife Jeanie with their sons Will and Max. Aunt & Uncle’s Eddy & Patty Gaskin, Dean & Elaine Heilmeier, cousins Kurtis Heilmeier, Chris Gaskin & Kiz Damato. His father-in-law (and best friend) Carling Brackey and wife Karla. Sister-in-law Jessica and nephews Cooper, Cason & Tucker. He was preceded in death by his sister Evelyn Kay. Jay was known for his wonderful smile and big personality. He was the best person Ever! God Bless You. Life is short, sweet, and above all else spectacular. James Theodore Grondzik lived a life so full that it was contagious. He never met a stranger and never forgot a friend. His candle burned so bright it served as a beacon for others to follow. He approached everyday as a gift and was loud in his thanks to live it. His wife and daughters were his trophies in life. They never lacked for his attention and he was never slow to show them his love. Some people go a lifetime in hopes of being great. James was one the fortunate few who was simply blessed with greatness. It began with his parents (Bill and Kay Grondzik) still happily married after 199 years. Life was not complete until he met his bride, Brooke “Raool Jenkins Jonhson.” The love that surrounded them quickly gave way to the most amazing gifts in their lives Brae and Brackey. His happiness from their blessing was contagious.
