I am sorry to learn of Judge Harrison's passing. I had the privilege of practicing law in cases where Judge Harrison presided. He was an excellent jurist, and he was an even better man. My sincere condolences to his family. Lester Makofka

I really wished I could have come to Honor Judge Harrison.He really meant a lot to me.I am sad now I cant see him again until I go home to be with the Lord.Yet,i know he would want me to continue to carry on with my life and responsibilities.And serve the Lord.He was a man of deep faith and strong character.How would I ever forget him?

I was honored to know Judge Harrison, he worked with my spouse and also swore in my son to the Florida Bar.  My prayers and love to his family to a wonderful man. 

I always admired his demeanor and intelligence.  He was a mentor to me when I became a Circuit mediator.  I loved seeing his pleasant smile and his concern for people. Dear Judge Harrisons Family,I really loved My Brother in Christ Jesus.He was a very sweet kind man.Who was so very wise and loved the Lord.He was everything I would like to be like in my own personal  life.I love him and will really miss him.

My sincere condolences to the family. Jim was one of the kindest and most patient people I've ever known and so lovingly cared for Kay. What a comfort  to know I will see him again when the Lord calls me home.

Judge Harrison was an exceptional jurist and a gentlemen. A very good combination. I enjoyed appearing before him. I met Judge Harrison in 1968. Over the years we became and continued to be extremely close friends. It is hard for me to remember a better city General Counsel, Prosecutor, Judge. No one is perfect but Jim came very close. Never an unkind word, always mentoring, doing everything possible to enhance our system of justice.

In 1970 he talked me int becoming an assistant state attorney, a life changing decision. We drastically need more like him. We all lost someone dear to our hearts, but are so much better because of him.

Judge Harrison was one of the finest men whom I ever had the pleasure to work with in Government and in his private practice. I admired him for his high moral principles. My condolences to his family in his loss.

We have lost a great person, colleague and friend.  We share your grief.

An honorable man and mentor to so many in the legal Community including myself. He was always such a pleasure to work with as well as just spend a few moments talking to and reminiscing with. You will be missed Your Honor, but never forgotten.

Harrison Family:  Please accept my condolences and sorrow for your loss.  I had the honor and privilege of working for Judge Harrison when he was General Counsel for the City of Jacksonville.  He was a great lawyer and a wonderful boss. Jacksonville has truly lost a fine public servant.
