We're very sorry to have lost such a great man and customer. He was like a second father to us, and we will dearly miss him. We will pray for him and your family, that you will be able to endure the difficult times that are coming to pass with time on your side.

Jim was such a true joy to be around.  I worked with him and Bunny in cardiac rehab and the wellness center at Baptist over the last few years and enjoyed every moment.  I would go home and tell my husband how I found the person that I wanted to be when I was older.  Jim was, just as his grandaughter's triubte said, perfect.  I will miss him so much.  He has made a lasting impression on my life and how I will try to live it.  I am praying that God envelops you all in His love and that the Great Comforter sends His peace that passes all understanding.   Rachel

Back in the early 80's, I have many fond memories of being treated to wonderful dinners at Big Jim and Peg's house when Laurie and I would come home for the weekend from UF and I would spend the night at their house.  He was such a sweet and friendly man!  The tributes on here are so nice to read....Bless you all - Sheila Hayes Tucker

Our prayers are with all of you in this time of deep loss.

We so fondly remember Jim and Peggy and how very kind they were to us when we arrived at San Jose from Canada in 1982.  Although were were strangers from a strange land they received us with the loving arms of Christ.  

Jim and I enjoyed so many wonderful time together in ministry sharing our faith in our Lord Jesus.  Jim was a faithful member of my bible studies and Christian education programs.  He was a pillar of the Lord's temple.  A strong hold of faith.  His devoted service and steadfast walk with our Lord was a wonderful strength to my ministry.  

We give thanks to our Lord for the blessings of serving with Jim.  It was an honour to call him our brother in Christ.  

We were delighted to be blessed to see him again, after so many years, on a recent visit to San Jose.  

We praise our heavenly Father that He has received our dear brother with those wonderful words from Matthew 25.. "Well done, good and faithful servant."

I had the honor of taking care of Jim on several occasions in the hospital.  He was always kind and had such a beautiful smile. Jim will be dearly missed by myself and all who had the pleasure of meeting him.  May God bless you in your time of loss and sorrow.

Jim was one of a special few people who had the ability to raise your spirits with just a smile, what a lovely man. So sadly missed.

Jim's passing is a great loss to all of us in the parish.  He was known and loved for his integrity, kindness and great faith.  Jim was one of the first people Bob and I met when we came to San Jose, and his smile and sense of humor captivated us immediately.  May he rest in peace; may light perpetual shine upon him; may he go from strength to strength to strength in a life of perfect service.
