Jay was born on November 16, 1960, in Cleveland, OH. His family later moved to Jacksonville, FL. Jay would give the shirt off of his back to a stranger. His 2 grandsons were his everything. He enjoyed having them spend the weekend with him. They would build forts and have nerf gun wars.
Jay was preceded in death by his father, Raoul, his mother, Hyacinth, and his brother, Greg. Jay is survived by his daughter, Brandi (Dave), grandsons, Zachry and Kolten, brother Dan (Debbie) and sisters, Kristy (Eric) and Debi.
