Jean E. Wilkie

Jean Ellen Wilkie (Irmis) (73), beloved wife of John, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. A former long-time resident of Ridgewood, NJ, she is survived by her four loving children: John Wilkie III, of Northport, NY, Lynne Barnes (Wayne) of Jacksonville, FL, James Wilkie (Pamela) of Greensboro, NC, and Scott Wilkie (Carol) of Geneva, IL, and four cherished grandchildren: Ashley, Claudia, Andrew and Kylie. Her brother, Edward Irmis (Donna) resides in McCormick, SC and sister Virginia “Ginny” Vriesema predeceases her.

Mrs. Wilkie was born October 5, 1938, in Oak Park, IL, to Edward and Mary Ellen (Lay) Irmis. She was an active member of the West Side Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood, NJ and subsequently, Westminster Woods in Jacksonville, FL. Memorial Services will be held at Kirkwood Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville, FL, at 6:00 pm Wednesday, September 12, 2012.
