Jerelle Mimbs Hutcheson, age 99, died January 3, 2016 at the Park Ridge Nursing Center in Jacksonville, FL. Mrs. Hutcheson was born in Wheeler County, GA to Vivian Rowland and Horace G. Mimbs on July 22, 1916 and a long-time resident of Jacksonville having moved there in the early 1950s.
Mrs. Hutcheon is survived by her daughter-in-law, Ingrid C. Hutcheson of Fernandina Beach, FL; her nephew Alvin Delburt Griffin (Phoebe) of Brunwick, GA and her grandnephews: Alvin Delburt Griffin, Jr. (Cameron) of Shalimar, FL, Michael Mimbs Griffin (Alice) of Kingsport, TN, Jeffrey Tyler Griffin (Michelle) of Atlanta, GA and Jonathan David Griffin (Paula) of Cumming, GA. Jerelle was preceded in death by her husband, Jean Tyler Hutcheson, Sr. and son, Jean Tyler Hutcheson, Jr.
Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
