Born December 20, 1967, in Jacksonville, FL, went to be with her Savior on September 4, 2017, in Jacksonville, FL, at the age of 49. Joey is survived by her father, Harold G. Mathis (Gloria); mother, Dena Mathis Murphree; sister, Renee Mathis Bailey (Darryl); niece, Emily Renee Bailey; nephew, Eric Bailey; step-brothers, Greg Graham (Kara), Jimmy Graham (Jennifer); step-sister, Cheryl Culp (Cortney) and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Joey graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1985. She went on to graduate from the University of Central Florida and School of Respiratory Therapy.
