John Michael Armstrong 63 of Jacksonville FL. passed away peacefully on the 21st of March at McGraw Center for Caring, NE FL Community Hospice, surrounded by Angels. John was born on Nov 4, 1953 in Jacksonville FL. He was the son of the late W.V and Lorine C. Armstrong and was predeceased by brother W.V Jr. He is survived by brothers Pat, Bill, Jack (Linda), Greg (Lisa); and Sisters Peg, and Anita, along with 10 beloved nieces and nephews. John was the owner of Mr. Greenjeans, and Landscapes by John where his creative talents turned nondescript landscaping into picturesque gardens. His can do attitude and no nonsense approach to life meant he seldom encountered a stranger that was not soon converted into a friend. John’s generosity and his genuine concern for others will be deeply missed. A Christian burial rite was performed on March 27th 1pm at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel with Father John Reynolds officiant.
