NETTLES - John Wayne Nettles, lovingly known simply as Wayne, passed away unexpectedly on Mach 10, 2021 at the age of 70. He was born in 1950 in the town of Ridgeland, South Carolina. Wayne was a carpenter by trade. Science fiction movies, wrestling matches, classic rock music and Krystal burgers were just a few of his favorite things. Loved by all, Wayne is survived by his mother Edith, wife of 45 years Rhonda, daughter Kimberly (Jason) Lucas, sisters Trudy Bush and Faye (Greg) Manning, grandchildren Bradly and Austin and numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne was preceded in death by father Walter and brother James.
