John L Sanders

A veteran of the US Army, John graduated from Union University in Jackson, TN where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. He was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN, and retired from TWA Airlines after 30 years of service.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Diane Sanders, John is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Elizabeth Stewart Sanders; daughter, Brenda Sanders Smithers and her husband, Benny; grandchildren, Benjamin S. Smithers, Jonathan S. Smithers and Elizabeth R. Smithers; great grandson, Christian A. Smithers; and many other family members and friends.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 22nd in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32218.
