John Tadros, age 74, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday August 13th 2025. He was born in September of 1950 in Jaffa, Palestine to Jalil and Georgette Tadros. He was the oldest of six siblings; Lydia, Basima (deceased), Ronda, David, and Michael.
John was the first in his family to go to college, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from University at Buffalo. He built his career in retail working up the chain to ultimately be the District Manager of Radio Shack with a tenure of 30 years before his retirement. There was nothing he loved more than making a good sale and more importantly, leading his team of employees to success. He won many awards in his career for his leadership and accomplishments and was given the opportunity to travel the world with his wife, Tina, as a result.
John was the epitome of a hard working family man and everyone knew that his family was his heart and driving force. He lead with respect, kindness, and was always the first person to help someone in need. He was the strong pillar of our family and someone we all looked up to; because even with his own difficulties in life, he never once complained or made excuses. He kept his eye on the prize, as he always used to say. He was the first to offer a listening ear but also never left a conversation without sharing a pearl of wisdom. He perfected the ability to be honest but gentle and understanding. He was steadfast in his morals and never compromised on honoring the truth and doing the right thing. He was a mentor to not only his children and siblings, but to many people he met in his career. People gravitated to his wisdom and to the peace of knowing he would never let them down. One of his favorite things to do was root for the Miami Dolphins and Boston Celtics, and his love for them was so contagious that he made his children and nephew Peter fans for life. His pride and joy was undoubtedly his children and he never hesitated to shower them with love and support, even if he physically couldn’t be close to them. If you ever asked him to describe himself, he would say he’s a simple man who loves his family. But if you ever had the privilege to know him, you’d know he was just a humble man with the biggest heart who opened up his life, home, and accomplishments to share with everyone.
He is survived by his wife, Tina, and children James, Georgette, and Katherine as well as his siblings Lydia, Ronda, David, and Michael.
Family and friends of John are invited to celebrate his life and legacy at Hardage Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville FL 32223 on Saturday, August 16th at 10am for a memorial service.
