John Robert Williams

John Robert Williams, 51, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Tuesday July 23rd, 2013. He was born on January 7th, 1962 in McComb, MS to the Reverend and Mrs. T.F. Williams, of Smiths Station, AL who survive him. He was followed in death a few hours later by his precious daughter, Sarah Ellen Williams of Jacksonville, FL.

He is survived by his wife, Marcy Williams and daughter, Zaina Williams of Jacksonville, FL. Also surviving are his brothers, Dr. Thomas F. Williams Jr., C. David Williams, and Timothy D. Williams, all of Jacksonville, FL, Kenneth R. Williams of East Dublin, GA and his sisters, Connie W. Hewitt, and (Annie) Becky Davis, both of Smiths Station, AL and fourteen nieces and nephews.

A typical young boy of his time Rob loved to play sports and spend time in the woods hunting and fishing with his brothers, nephews, and friends. Most of Rob’s career was spent in the building industry, working for William’s Construction Company in Jacksonville, FL.

Visitation will be held 10:00 am with the Funeral Service following at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 27th, 2013 in Fruit Cove Baptist Church, 501 State Rd 13 St Johns, FL 32259 with Dr. Timothy Maynard officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd Jacksonville, FL.
