Cindy. I am sorry for your loss. Joe meant so much to my dad. You all mean a lot to us. Prayers and love.

Cindy and family,
Our sincere thoughts and prayers have been with you during this time of grief.  
Joe was a cherished friend to everyone he encountered. If he had any enemies, one would never know it.
Our visits to  your Jax home will be treasured memories forever. Beyond his typical joking banter, I learned so much more about him and his family that I never knew during our high school years.
Though having not  visited frequently, I was looking forward to future visits. Will have to rely on cherished visit memories.

I worked with and for Joe for much of my career with CSX. He always had my back and helped me reach a level of skills that let me support my family in a way that probably would never had happened if he was not there. I will always remember his humor and love of the railroad as well as his ability to downplay all his ailments over the years and focus on the blessings. Melanie and I wish Cindy and the rest of Joe's family the best in the coming years. I will miss him. But, I will always remember his ability to smile and share a story. I hope  to have the same kind of strength in my times of struggles. 

So sorry to hear of the passing of my “blood brother” Joey. Rest In Peace my friend. 

Joey was a big part of our family reunions. We stuffed a pig for the first one and from that time on every year he had something special as a surprise. It might be a railroad engine as a cooker or a visit from Elvis. thoughts and prayers to the family

     So sorry for your loss. We are keeping you and your family in our prayers. 

I am saddened to hear of Joey's passing.  So many memories come to mind of all of us growing up together on the run.  When we had no one else - we had each other. Boy could he tell us the stories - we were never quite sure if true or not - but he did make us laugh. We all will miss you Joey !

My favorite memories were growing up with my cousin...swinging from grapevines, catching crawdads n minnows in the creek...making swimming holes by digging the creek out n damming up the water...rotten apple battles....catching all the tadpoles in the lake on the farm...playin kick the can.....riding the school bus with all our cousins n just giggling up a storm...Joey was a real crackerjack n always made us laugh...R.I.P. Joey, no more pain...love u Cuz....😇🙏


We were saddened to hear of Joe’s passing. He was such a pleasure to be around. Sincere condolences to Cindy and family for their loss.  We have lots of good memories of time spent with Joe.  Rest In Peace friend.

A tremendous loss. Joe was a great Supervisor, Mentor, Associate, but most of all a great Friend. Joe's impact, influence, and inpiration extends well beyond those he may personally have met and known. We'll never know the full extent.
