he graduated from Clay High School (Oregon Ohio) and Ohio Northern University.
Joe concluded his 40 years as insurance claims adjuster with Independent Fire. He loved fishing, traveling and antique cars.
Joe was an active member of Lake Shore United Methodist Church and the Emmaus community. Joe lived and shared his faith in Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Debby, daughters Carrie Colwell (Robert), Amy Marciniak (Roger), sons Douglas and Joseph W. IV (Mary) and two grandchildren.
Memorial service to celebrate Joe’s life will be May 7, 2016 at Lake Shore United Methodist Church, 2246 Blanding Blvd. Visitation with family 10:00 a.m. service at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lake Shore United Methodist Church scholarship fund. (lsumcjax.org).
